If you want to give Darkfall Unholy Wars a try, just do it don't ask questions but join a guild immediately or you will be lost similar to early Tibia days where no information is given.Īventurine pretty much lied to us for 3 years while they created Darkfall Unholy Wars behind our backs completely destroying everything that was Darkfall and turning it into a failed moba style combat/mainstream game that tried to pull in more players and cut corners on EVERY inch of the game compared to the original so it lacks so much character. I never played UO so all you fan boys out there, I cannot say whether in its day it was better than UO or not. I don't know the state of Tibia as I haven't played in years but it is probably my 2nd favorite MMORPG of all times just behind Darkfall Online.
Then as far as depth of game, outside of PvP Darkfall has no depth unlike Tibia where there are tons of quests and always the carrot on the stick of unending level system and they do decent size updates every season. there is low population so you won't see any large battles maybe 30v30 last I heard in a server siege.
